Beginner Hula Hoop Workshop

This is a very beginner friendly hula hoop class focused on introductory tricks, transitions between them, and ways to conceptualize “combo” moves. Hoops will be provided, wear form fitting clothing, and bring an excitement to try a modern spin on a classic toy!

This 90-minute workshop is every 2nd Sunday of the month at 3:30pm.

Sensuous Flow

What happens when we slow down and explore our sensations? This class combines sequence based movements and prompts with an invitation to notice what is happening internally and externally. Students can expect a combination of technical exploration as it relates to feeling and using momentum, weight shifts, contact points and rotation/spirals as well as prompt-based guided movement. Come prepared with layers, knee pads, and most importantly: curiosity.
